Our very experienced and highly valued Service Manager is retiring and we have a rare opportunity to recruit to this vital post in Children's Social Care.

We are looking for a strong, passiona! te and highly skilled professional who can strategically lead as well as support our operational managers and social workers in the delivery of our Fostering, Adoption, Looked after Children and Care Leavers, Younger Children and Families, Parenting Assessment, Contact and Residential services for children in Bournemouth.

You will need to have a strong knowledge and experience of managing one or all of these service areas and a strong vision and understanding of what good and outstanding services look like for children and families.

We have recently transformed our operational model to be fit for the future, so this is an exciting time to join us in Bournemouth. You will be able to influence and embed new ways of working and take a lead role in making things happen.

The proposed interview date is Wednesday 27 November and possibly 28 November 2013.
