Our client is a world leader in the electronics m! anufacturing sector, they are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to be responsible for the management, performance and reporting of all allocated projects and tasks, including customer relationships, quality, profitability, cash flow and adherence to program. The Senior Technical Project Manager will lead a team consisting of business unit and wider business resources.

THE CANDIDATE
Senior Technical Project Manager - Business/Product Management
The ideal candidate will come from a technical background with demonstrable experience as a Technical Project Manager within a regulated/safety-critical/high-technology industry. Commercial awareness, being quality focused, forward thinking and supportive to others are essential qualities to have; as the Technical Project Manager is responsible for supporting continuous process improvement and new process development.
Key essential skills for the role:
o Technical or business management degree is preferred/demonstrable experience underpinned with a recognisable qualification is accepted.
o Engineering background - electrical/electronic ideally, would look at mechanical but would have to have knowledge/appreciation of electronic control systems.
o Project management and technical ! experience within a regulated industry.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and make decisions.
o Demonstrable commercial awareness.
THE ROLE
Senior Technical Project Manager - Business/Product Management
The Senior Technical Project Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to; management of performance and reporting of all allocated tasks and projects. The Senior Technical Project manager will lead a dedicated team consisting of a business unit and wider business resources, working with business development in the establishment to provide improvement of existing customer relationships and supporting new business.
Some key responsibilities include; Delivery of commitments and projects to time, cost and quality agreed, aiding in performance development for the existing project team members.
