We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, hardworking individual as a full time apprentice to join our busy day nursery. Working as part of a team of professionals to provide a high ! standard of Childcare.
The Childcare apprentice is a programme designed for learners who are seeking a career in Childcare, you will be employed gaining valuable work experience as well as working to achieve a recognised Qualification at level 2. The Certificate for the Children & Young Peoples Workforce consists of achieving 35 credits, and be supported to achieve Key Skills - Application of Number and Communication level 1.
The Apprenticeship programme is work based and learners spend time working with the children . You will be supported every step of the way by a fully qualified assessor.
You will be expected to carry out daily tasks such as setting up activities and encouraging the children to participate, supporting children during meal times, supporting all nursery staff.

To! ps Day Nurseries opened in Boscombe in December 2006. The buil! ding, St.. Andrews Hall, 4c Wolverton Road, Boscombe, is on 3 floors plus a basement.
The pre school and the 2 year olds are on the ground floor, the babies and the playclub are on the second floor.
This nursery is open from 7.00 am until 6.30pm currently to accommodate the working patterns of parents in Boscombe, and for 52 weeks of the year. It is currently closed on Bank Holidays and weekends.

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National ! Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The Minimum Wag! e for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
