One o! f the UK's largest training providers is looking for a Functional Skills Tutor to join their team in the Bournemouth area. This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the Functional Skills delivery to support, tutor and assess a caseload of learners in Maths and English (up to level 2), to help learners achieve their full potential.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal applicant will have experience of working with Functional / Key Skills or teaching Maths and English and will preferably hold a teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/PTLLS/CTLLS/DTLLS/7304 or 7407). You should be able to work with and support a range of learners and it is essential that you have minimum GCSE grades A-C in Maths and English. You must be able to work independently, managing your own time and travelling around the Bournemouth and surrounding area to visit different work places. A driving licence and access to your own transport is essential along with ability to work i! ndependently and flexibility to travel extensively.
- Starting Salary of £18,000- £20,000 dependant on experience and qualifications
- 40p p/mile mileage when travelling on business
