One of the world's largest and most successful Inv! estment Banks require a technical support analyst for their technical centre in Bournemouth. This will be a technical role with the aim of effectively supporting the Securities Core Processing strategic platform, as part of a global team delivering an exciting and cutting edge green field build out for the Securities Processing Centre involving global teams of top talent. Candidates will be expected to be best of breed individual contributors; possess strong inter-personal skills, as well as a proven track record in a technical role.

The candidate will need to have a strong technical background, with:

• Linux/UNIX
• SQL
• And some database skills

The successful candidate will be able to build expert understanding of the investment banking business from working within a team who process trades from across the entire bank. There will be considerable challenges to the role, from a business and stakeholder management perspective! and also from the High Throughput, Mission Critical, High Per! formance nature of the platform.

Unix, Linux, Shell Scripting, SQL, Database Skills (Oracle, Sybase), Autosys, Cognos, Foglight/Geneos, Messaging (MQ), IaaS, Agile delivery, SCRUM /Kanban, Investment Bank / Financial Services, Java, Python, Perl, Securities trade, position, settlement, Fixed Income, Equities.
