Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to recruit experienced 1st and 2nd level Helpdesk Technicians to its IT Service Departments into both Boscombe, Bournemouth and Forston Clinic, Forston. The post holders will be key contributors to the Helpdesk and help deliver service within existing Service Level Agreements.
The successful applicants will undertake 1st and 2nd level IT Support activities, some admin! istrative support work and contribute to the on-going developm! ent of services. Experience of working within Microsoft Windows environments and service support functions is desirable.
As positions exist at both our offices, the successful post holders will be based at one or the other of these locations. This is an important role, frequently representing the first point of contact with the IT service and consequently whilst NHS experience is not essential it would be beneficial.
Travel around Dorset in line with the demands of the job will be required. Although car ownership is not essential the ability to visit any customer or partner site is a requirement of the post so a full valid driving license and access to a vehicle to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
