Infrastructure Support Technician required to join a leading software company based in the Bournemouth area.
The role of! Infrastructure Support Technician will involve supporting a full range of IT Infrastructure solutions primarily based around application, desktop, server and storage virtualisation technologies. Key vendors include Citrix, VMWare, EMC, Microsoft, Datacore, Dell and HP. You will be supporting both internal infrastructures along with external clients.
The correct Infrastructure Support Technician will have at least three years experience be working in a similar role. You will have very strong knowledge in regard to Windows desktop and Server systems, Exchange 2010 along with VMware and Citrix based systems. You will also have experience of setting up and maintaining SAN systems and have a strong background in networking. Any professional qualification within the above areas would also be beneficial. As you will be working in a team environment and dealing with external customers your communication skills will also be excellent.
