- Bournemouth. Working for a leading IT Employer, the ITIL Problem Manager will be responsible for restoring errors within the IT Infrastructure and to perform IT root cause analysis to resolve these issues.
Working within an enterprise scale IT Infrastructure, the successful candidate will be responsible for investigating all errors within the IT infrastructure and ensuring the swift resolution of aforementioned problems. Therefore we are looking for candidates with experience of working within a large ITIL IT Environment which adhered strictly to an ITIL policy.
Responsibilities will involve:
- Developing and maintaining the organisations Problem and Error control processes.
- To manage the indepth investigations into IT related problems in order to minimise or prevent future breaks in service.
- To be responsible for conducting detailed analysis of data gathered via the Service Management processes to improve future responses.
- To lead the investigation of problems via Root Cause Analysis after major incidents or trough pro-active trend analysis.
- To examin! e potential areas for service improvement.
- Extensive Problem Management experience.
- Experience in Trend analysis and proactive problem management.
- Proven track record of problem and error control.
- Experience using IT Service Management tools.
- ITIL Problem Management experience or ideally certification, such as ITIL V2 or ITIL V3.
