As the leading provider in this f! ield, our fun packed camps are located in over 70 schools nationwide each offering excellent facilities. The role of the Early Years Manager is to deliver the EYFS on our Multi Activity programme. Working alongside the Site Manager you will be the primary contact for parents and the younger children during their time at Super Camps.
Responsibilities:
Acting as the key person for all Early Years activity on camp this will include: -
Setting up a Base Room/Area that is suitable and inviting to hold your sessions throughout the weeks
Creating a timetable with the planners provided and your own initiative, alongside the Site Manager
Manage the Early Years sign in/sign out area, giving feedback to parents/guardians on observations made from the day
Deliver the Early Years sessions with structure and enthusi! asm, encouraging maximum participation whilst following the Of! sted EYFS guidelines
Undertake additional duties such as supervision of children during non-activity time, cleaning and on-going maintenance of your equipment
Qualifications Required
Requirements:
Educated to degree level or at a minimum Level 3 in Early Years with experience, skills and attributes as follows:
Previous experience ideally within a supervisory role
Previous experience teaching/coaching reception age children in Sports, Play and Art and Crafts
Enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills
Caring, energetic and outgoing with good use of initiative
Flexible, team player willing to take on various tasks as required
Due to Super Camps being on the Early Years Register successful applicants will be required to perform certain checks to ensure they are suitable to work with this age group on camp. Early Years Managers will be required to:
Provide det! ails of 2 professional references who have known the candidate for a minimum of 12 months
Answer Suitable Person Questions to be emailed to the candidate testing knowledge of safe practi
You must be eligible to work in the UK
You must be able to speak English fluently
