The role of IT Development Manager requires someone to be responsible for the software development department within my client. You will be expected to lead a team of software developers within a .NET, C# environment. You will define, implement and monitor all software development policies whilst ensuring best practices are being met and that quality standards are being kept at a high level. You will be expected to liaise with multiple departments and be able to work across the full development / project lifecycle. The role is not a hands-on development role but you will be expected to have come from a solid development background and have moved into a more management role whilst still keeping your development skills up to date.
The correct IT development Manager will be working within a similar role at the moment. You will have a strong level of technical knowledge within .NET, C# development along with SQL. You will preferably have some! experience of e-commerce development and also be working with! in a agile environment. You will be able to demonstrate good team lead skills along with experience of some project management / business analysis and be able to work across multiple departments. You will have very good communication skills, both written and verbal.
