THE ROLE
Our client is a market leading provider of medical imaging services. As Unit Manager you will lead, manage, develop a! nd grow the designated site to ensure it meets internal targets and external standards. You will be managing the team at the unit and the wider company resources.
Your role will have many aspects including people, financial, clinical and operational management, as well as some business development and contract management.
You will cover all aspects of people management from recruitment to the development of staff. Financially you will lead and contribute to achieving goals for revenue, costs and margins within the site. You will lead the team in growing and maintaining existing contracts, as well as working with the Business Development Manager to bring in new contracts and referrals. Your role will involve ensuring that the brand standards, values and behaviours are maintained across the site. Clinical standards for high standards of patient care must be kept, as well as making sure all regulations are adhered to. You will have full P&L responsibility for the site ! you manage.
YOU
You will be a competent manager, with ! significant people management experience. You will have clinical and commercial management experience, ideally with previous healthcare or radiology experience. As part of your role you will be performing scanning duties also, you must therefore be MRI trained in order to undertake this role.
An excellent communicator, you will have excellent interpersonal skills coupled with good organisational and time management/prioritisation skills. Previous P&L experience is a must, with the ability to interpret financial information.
