We’re looking for a Part Time Optical Assistant (Retail) to work as part of a team to deliver total satisfaction to our customers.

You'll be the first point of contact for many of our cusstomers so having a passion for helping people and providing the best possible service goes without saying.

You’ll make sure our customers are welcomed into the store whilst caring for them every step along the way, whether that be taking them through their initial examination or helping them select the products that are right for them.

We want you to make our customers smile and leave the store feeling delighted with the service they have received.

If you haven’t already guessed our Optical Assistants (Retail) are in a front-lin! e role so all eyes will be on you. You’ll have a natural tal! ent for building rapport making our customers feel welcome and relaxed. In return you’ll find a wide range of training opportunities to develop your career.

Job Requirements

Ideally you’ll:

• Be educated to GCSE grade C and above including English and Maths
• Have basic IT skills
• Have previous retail and/or customer service experience
• Have effective communication skills both verbal and written
• Have previous experience in optics either retail or manufacturing

You’ll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with good customer service. Team work is a big part of our culture so the ability to work well with other people is essential. You’ll also need to be enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn.
