The Media School at Bournemouth University is one of the largest of its kind in the world and has a global reputation for combining research and teaching practice.
We are now seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer to join our highly-regarded Corporate and Marketing Communications academic group. We offer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing Communications and Politics & Media and research across all these areas.
Applications from candidates with experience and expertise in one or more the fields of advertising management, brand communication, media planning, creativity and account planning public ! relations, consumer behaviour or marketing communications woul! d be particularly welcomed. You will be directly involved in the development of learning and teaching and course management, and will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the existing curriculum area, strengthening the research and enterprise profile of the School.
You will have a Doctorate (or be very close to completing) or equivalent relevant professional experience and qualifications together with a growing reputation for excellence in learning & teaching, research and/or professional practice and enterprise activities. If you have equivalent experience and qualifications you will be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge into a doctorate in a maximum of 3-5 years from the date of the appointment.
This post is available on a fixed-term contract until 31 July 2014.
