this role: To
help deliver the Councils communication strategy, offering an effective
in-house specialist PR and reputation management service for the organisation,
including media relations, public relations, issues management, crisis
management and campaign planning and implementation. Key objectives of the role are to: Ensure all our residents have easy acc! ess to relevant, clear and
honest information, in ways whi! ch suit them, so that they can make informed
life choices and influence decisions that affect them.Support effective engagement between the Council and its residentsPromote and improve the understanding of the Council, its
services, policies and objectives through effective communicationManage the reputation of Bournemouth Borough Council and minimise
risk to reputation via media management, issues management, reputation

experience, preferably within a similar role and ideally within a public

effective management of negative, crisis and emergency issu! es with a
