Salary: 25k to 33k basic + benefits
Location: Bournemouth area

My client are ! looking for a pro-active individual to join their marine sales team. You will be the primary customer point of contact in the promotion and sales of Marine Systems worldwide, developing sales opportunities with overseas Naval customers along with agent management, preparation of proposals and technical sales presentations to end customers and prime contractors.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• The successful candidate will have experience in a technical background, preferably electronic or electromechanical ( ideally marine electronics / instrumentation ) and/or defence sales environment, with the ability to develop and maintain customer relations.
• Experience of writing proposals for customers. Lengthy responses to technical aspects of the product, commercial responses to contract terms & conditions
• Proficiency in another language would be advantageous.
• Candidates must be commutable to the Bournemouth area as much of thei! r time will be spent in the office
• Security clearance! will be required for the successful candidates.

You will also possess a drive / enthusiasm for face to face sales. The role is approximately 20% face to face sales (UK/abroad) and may suit someone looking to progress from internal telephone based sales
