Training Officer /Manager required on a permanent basis for a successful international manufacturing company.
Based at the largest Manufacturing site, this is a great chance to work in an environment where you will be able to devise and implement training and development programmes. Reporting to the HR Director, the role will suit a confident individual as youÂ'll be responsible for the learning and professional development of the organisations workforce.
To apply for the role candidates must have at least 5 year experience in a training officer/manager role within an engineering/manufacturing industry. Applicants also need to be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills as you will play a key influencing role across the business.
Part of a global group with substantial new investment, the company are continuing to increase their portfolio with a range of commercially successful products for a variety of markets both in the UK an! d abroad. This is the largest manufacturing site in the UK and! the position is set to grow.
Additional investment is planned along with added headcount.
The role:
 Identify the training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, appraisal and regular consultation with line managers and human resources
 Managing the costs of planned programmes and keeping within budgets
 Improve induction programmes and be responsible for their delivery
 Review, plan and develop with their immediate counterpart at different sites the training and development programme for all apprentices ensuring consistency of delivery and recording.
 Devising individual learning plans following training needs analysis
 Produce training materials for in-house training courses
 Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with line managers.
 Days Monday - Friday 38 hours a week.
 7.30-4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 12.30pm finish on a! Friday.
The person required:
 5 years experience in a similar role
 Experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
 Hold an associated training and development qualification - CIPD level 7 in training and development or organisational learning or equivalent
