The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are progressing through a process to merge. A merger would bring together two trusts, each with a strong reputation for excellent infection control performance, high quality clinical services with patient safety at the heart of what we do, and low waiting times. Occupational Health Nursing Advisor Band 6 Grade Full time
! We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated person to join our team at Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Foundation Trust.
You should have a Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing and at least three years post registration experience, be a good communicator, have a keen interest in health and wellbeing, be IT literate and have a clear understanding of Occupational Health Practice.
You must be competent in presenting to a wide audience, and have sound evidenced based clinical practice, along with a good working knowledge of current legislation, some management responsbilities will also come with this post.
You should be able to work primarily managing your own case load and be an effective team member.
This post will be based on the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site, however our service has merged with Poole Foundation Trusts Occupational Health Department and at times you may be required to work! at that site. There will also be times when the service will be delive! red elsewhere in Dorset due to our external contract work.
Hours of work: 37.5 per week 9.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday
