We are looking to scale up this project and increase the volume of publications throughout 2013. The! next area we have publication deadline dates for is Bournemouth. This is an exciting opportuntiy to engage with your local community whilst sourcing, writing and editing content for hibu's magazine publication. The specific communities we are targeting are Ferndown, Ringwood, Parksone and Wareham..
Roles & Responsibilities:
Source non-advertising content for each edition, and to carry out the final proof read before publication
Provide the regular reports on issues and the status of the monthly publications
Contribute original, written editorial content ensuring both an informative and enriching experience for readers
Oversee entire publication process for the relevant publication each month
Build and establish a local 'network' to allow a natrual flow of content each month
Experience & Personal Attr! ibutes Required:
Excellent writing and general literac! y skills
Extensive experience in a journalist or editorial position
Knowledge of local area is desirable
Previous publication management experience
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate proof of eligibility to work in the UK and hold a valid work visa if applicable.
You also need to be living within commutable distance of the Bournemouth area.
