Key Stage 3 and 4 Teacher ! of Art and Photography Job in Bournemouth
A secondary school in the Dorset town of Bournemouth, have a Art and Photography Teacher job available to start in September 2013. This is contract initially until the end of the autumn term.
The school aims to provide an outstanding 21st century learning experience, they want to enable their students to hit and aim for high aspirations and fulfil their potential, further equipping their students with skills to be life-long learners. For staff they offer excellent support and professional development, you will need to have excellent classroom management, and the interest in being a house tutor.
You will be teaching Art and Photography up to GCSE level.
To be considered for this Art and Photography Teacher job you must demonstrate:
- Knowledge and understanding of the GCSE courses
- The ability to select appropriate teaching methods and resources according to pupil’s differ! ing needs and their preferred learning style
- Effectiv! e classroom management and efficient organisation of resources
- Effective planning, assessment and record keeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with other teachers, support staff and parents / carers
- Be a Qualified Teacher (PGCE, BA Education, or equivalent)
- Have taught in UK Secondary School
- Live locally to Dorset
- Be passionate about teaching Art and Photography
