About the ro! le

• To increase the business' brand value via media coverage and direct customer communications to ultimately amplify the revenue potential of these channels. To shape and manage content strategy to fit the business' marketing and media objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage (directly) relationships with key media stakeholders and work with them to generate content for their consumption
• Work, and be a key influencer, with the businesses economics and research team to elicit and shape relevant content for use in marketing and media campaigns
• Ensure that all customer facing (content driven) properties are up to date and optimised. Seek all opportunities to lift ourbrand and brand perception wherever possible
• Devise, deploy and manage a company-wide social media strategy. Work with the research, content and commercial teams to identify key stakeholders within the organisation, and key influencers in the social spa! ce. Ascertain the success factors of the project and report pr! ogress
• Ensure that all content pertaining to time specific campaigns and events is created on time, on message and to excellent standards
• Work with our customers to write case-study and customer focus materials. Obtain necessary consents to publish for commercial use
• Manage events and their respective editorial content. Co-ordinate with speakers and stakeholders to ensure consistent quality and that thematic objectives are achieved

Essential Skills

• Previous experience of PR required (Account Manager or above, if agency)
• Strong copy-writing abilities (demonstrable if possible)
• Confident verbal communications and presentation skills
• Exposure (preferably operational) of working in a marketing function
• Experience of working in a B2B company/market required

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience of events management
• Previous experience managing social media strat! egies and content strategies
• Knowledge of the construction industry and built environment would be desirable
