A new vacancy has arisen to join a growing and motivational educational charity that place teachers in disadvantaged schools. The position will be building external partnerships with education providers ma! naging current relationships with and partner universities in the Bournemouth region. They will also work closely with an internal Initial Teacher Development (ITD) department internally.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and developing partnerships with external stakeholders including schools, colleges, universities and corporate partners whilst ensuring all training is delivered and developed in line with the organisation’s goals and national requirements. They will be working closely with internal training teams across the regions to support with the design and continued improvement of training support programmes for new teachers, and will develop and lead on a strategy for teaching mentors.

A passion for addressing educational disadvantage is essential for this role as well as knowledge of the current educational landscape. A demo! nstrable background in relationship management and the ability! to build new partnerships across a range of organisations and individuals is key. Knowledge of teaching or teaching training would be advantageous and the ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines will be a necessity.
