My client is looking for a Business Analyst to take responsibility for rapidly building a business analysis centre of excellence that will enable the! m to make the desired step change in process and systems performance. This responsibility will include the introduction and update of appropriate methodologies and best practices with particular emphasis on process improvement expertise (ie process analysis, design and re-engineering). The training, development and coaching of the Business Analyst team and other key personnel to adopt the new standards will also form part of the responsibility.
Candidates applying for this position must demonstrate experience and a strong understanding of:
Target Operating Model Design and Business Process Transformation
ISEB Certified
LEAN/Six Sigma
Project shaping and business case development
Business Requirements Definition processes and techniques
Full Systems Development Lifecycle
Different systems delivery methodologies (including Waterfall and Agile)
Prince 2 project management methodology
The successful candidate to hold one or more relevant ! professional qualifications.
In addition to these skills, ! my client is looking for a strong team player capable of working under their own direction and proactively taking the lead when appropriate. Candidates must have a good track record of building and sustaining effective working relationships with business stakeholders and supply functions (such as IT, Training and 3rd party suppliers), conveying levels of knowledge and professionalism to breed confidence. They must also have strong influencing skills and be willing and able to challenge the status quo in a way that is both constructive and focused on the business objectives. Strong communication skills are essential.
