Technician Demonstrator BA/MA Graphic Design

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Graphic Design team at the Arts University Bournemouth.
The School of Visual Arts is seeking to employ a full time Technician Demonstrator to be responsible for managing the technical requirements of students on the BA and MA courses in Graphic Design.
Applicants need to be able to demonstrate understanding and skilled use of specialist equipment and digital processes and have a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word) as well as Nikon Camera Control and ViewNX. An understanding of Health & Safety legislation and risk assessment implementation are essential.
You will deliver a variety of induction programmes, provide group demonstrations of a range of related processes, and provide day-to-day support for! students undertaking their project work. You will be required! to develop and make teaching resources and learning aids, organise trips/events and assist academics in the preparation of taught sessions.
It is highly desirable that candidates possess a degree, or equivalent, and will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
