Working on behalf of a leading global consultancy, who are experts in providing advisory, design, project delivery and managed services associated with infrastructure and business services, we have a requirement for an experienced Highways Engineer to join their well-established Bournemouth team.
You'll be responsible for the delivery of technical outputs of projects or service areas to the meet the client’s brief.
You'll prepare technical designs in accordance with approved design procedures and will exercise independent engineering judgement to provide innovative solutions to engineering problems.
To be considered for this role, candidates should have the following qualifications and experience â€"
With a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline you'll be working towards chartered / incorporated status (or equivalent) o! f a relevant professional institution.
With a working! knowledge and experience in highways or general civil engineering projects, preferably within local authorities, you'll also have knowledge of the main management systems & processes used within a similar consultancy business.
Experience and a working knowledge of relevant design software and standards, fluent written and spoken English and IT literacy are also key.
You'll be able to work under your own initiative but will seek advice when necessary and you'll have the drive and determination to meet targets.
