Founded in 1957, Nuffield Hospital Bournemouth is an exceptionally caring environment with 57 beds, 3 theatres, an endoscopy room & 4 treatment rooms in the Outpatient department for minor procedures. Our service provision is varied, covering everything from outpatients and minor procedures through to major surgical specialties. In this role, you'll lead with the reporting and analysis of the hospital's financial performance and the implementation of the necessary corrective action to address identified issues. You will ensure information within your area of responsibility is monitored, reconciled, recorded and reported correctly, in accordance with quality criteria and national and / or local procedures and that the timescales for all processes and procedures with! in your area of responsibility are met.
You will be r! equired to investigate problems (including those escalated by other members of staff) to identify and deliver solutions and to provide support to other areas within the multidisciplinary team as necessary. This role will also require you to lead in the production of monthly management information for other departments and parts of the organisation and to prepare accruals and prepayments to ensure costs and revenues are matched. We are interested in talking to candidates with good oral and written communication skills, a high level of numeracy and good IT user skills. Approximately 3 years relevant experience gained working within a finance environment is preferred, and a good standard of education with grade C or above in English and Maths is essential.
