Are currentl! y seeking a Junior Lift Design Engineer, they are looking for somebody with a minimum of an HNC and some industry experience ideally working on site.
The company designs systems that result in environmentally sustainable and energy efficient buildings, with minimum operating costs and optimum performance and reliability, whilst meeting the needs of building users.
With the aim of optimising whole life delivery, their approach focuses on the design of the entire building in partnership with architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors and other construction professionals.
Increasing complexity essential for modern businesses, the necessity for higher standards of comfort and safety, respect for the environment and the need for more efficient use of energy, all lead to sophistication in the systems required and the need for new technology in the design process. The company has focused on developing services to meet these requirements
A v! aried workload is undertaken across a wide spectrum of markets! including corporate headquarters, colleges and universities, high and low-rise office buildings, laboratories and hospitals, museums and galleries, hotels, retail premises and urban regeneration projects.
The successful applicant will be involved with a wide range of activities including; design of vertical transportation & associated systems in both new & existing buildings (passenger, goods/ freight, fire fighting & vehicle lifts; escalators; moving walks); site inspections & audits; production of condition reports; witness testing; development of specifications; provision of DDA advice; project management; client & contractor liaison.
Full Training will be given.
