Our client a international Insurance company is looking to recruit a Contracts Adviso! r to join the contracts team.
Job Purpose:
Assisting the Hospital Contracts Manager in negotiating pricing agreements, in accordance with company set targets, to ensure customers have access to a wide range of high quality cost effective treatment providers.
The post holder is a key contact for the business for provider and contract issues, including the management of complaints in accordance with the provider complaints management policy.
Responsibilities
- Accreditation of new providers
- Challenge, negotiate and agree charges with all treatment providers, within specified KPIs
- Act as the point of contact for internal referrals relating to provider fees
- Provides an excellent standard of service to providers in response to their queries.
- Develop, update, implement and monitor provider negotiations procedures.
- To have overall responsibility for complex provider accreditation iss! ues.
- Act as first point of contact for Customer Servi! ces with provider queries.
- Ensure that all system loaded Treatment Provider data, including pricing information is loaded accurately and kept up to date.
- Produce ad-hoc provider spend and savings reports, as requested by the HCM.
- Management and resolution of complaints received from customers on experience/treatment received from Providers
- Contribution to monthly management report complaints/MI
- To liaise with Clinical Risk Team on the management of complex claims
Essential
- Good understanding of provider tariffs and invoicing procedures.
- Excellent, organisational, communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Significant PMI/healthcare experience in a commercial environment
- Good understanding of medical conditions and their treatment.
- Good understanding of provider locations and services provided.
- Expe! rience of managing multiple contract renewals to strict deadlines.
- Presentation skills
Essential
- Educated to 1st Degree standard or equivalent
- Minimum 5 GCSE, inc English, Maths
- PC literate with good knowledge of Word and Excel
