Roles and Responsibilities - Finance and Business Management Function:
Provide timely, accurate and actionable financial reporting and monthly business reviews that provide clear, impactful explanations of operating results and variances based on relevant business drivers, and help ensure expense goals are achieved Utilize the knowledge and understanding of functional expense and headcount drivers to manage and/or lead financial/strategic projects and key analyses to provide insight, decision support and strategic messaging to the CS leadership team and senior leadership across the CIB. Support management in preparing workforce analytics such as capacity modeling, functional taxonomies, and activity analysis tied to key operational metrics. Track and report on the Client Service function's progress vs. strategic objectives Drive the annual budgeting, mid-year and other mont! hly forecasting processes
Financial Analyst - Over! view of Roles and Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst role is a position in which the successful candidate will participate in financial planning, analysis, forecasting and budgeting, as well as the production of the monthly business review. The position will require developing an understanding of functional expense management and the key financial processes, tools and systems related to developing expense forecasts and budgets, performing monthly accounting close functions, and reporting and interpreting actual results. The role partners with a Mumbai based team member, and requires significant coordination with both the Client Service executives and the central PRA team. In addition, the role is expected to be significantly involved in supporting the lead Finance & Business Manager in creating the analyses and executive presentations that help drive and message strategic initiatives.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Contribute to annual budget and periodic (monthly) forecasting processes Contribute to the month-end close process and provide variance commentary Prepare financial (variance) analysis and walkforwards (expense and headcount) by key business drivers Contribute to executive-level monthly business reviews Calculate and coordinate expense accruals Manage product allocation rules, reporting hierarchy and examine incoming allocations Implementing controls and best practices to ensure efficient, timely and accurate financial reporting Reviewing expenses and identify potential reductions in the cost base to streamline business processes and improve profitability

Qualifications:
Experience in financial management (planning, forecasting, budgeting and strong understanding of both finance and accounting practices) Excellent quantitative, analytical problem solving and financial / data / business modeling skills Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to a non-financial audience, strong documentation and reporting skills Strong presence, comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management Superior attention to details and process skills; sense of urgency Able to collaborate across lines of businesses and work with central/corporate organizations Capable of balancing multiple assignments simultaneously Sound judgment, professional maturity and per! sonal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented outlook, possess courage to ask tough questions and challenge the status quo Proficiency in Essbase and Microsoft Office applications
