A leading UK healthcare insurer is seeking to employ a new Contracts Advisor. The role is based in Bournemouth and will be reporting to the Hospital Contracts Manager.
The overall purpose of the role is to assist the Hospital Contracts Manager in negotiating pricing agreements in accordance with set targets. You will challenge, negotiate and agree charges within specified KPI's and act as the point of contact for all queries and referrals. You will be responsible for developing and monitoring negotiation procedures. You will manage and resolve complaints received from customers and liaise with the Clinical Risk Team on the management of complex claims. You will occasionally be expected to travel throughout the country.
To be considered for this role you must hold A Levels in any subject and be PC literate, an excellent communicator and strong numeracy skills. You'll also be a confident negotiator with strong influencing skills. The ideal candidate will be a proactive decision maker who is results driven and can work with minimal supervision.
