About You
You will have:
excellent keyboard and computer skills to include knowledge of MS Office systems Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email
exemplary email and diary management, with a proven ability to manage across different diraries and work under own initiative
a positive 'can-do' approach to work, and flexibility according to business needs
excellent and proven attention to detail and accuracy
prioritisation skills and a confidence in own ability, coupled with confidentiality and discretion at all times
excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
the ability to demonstrate a sincere interest in people and the ability to respond empathetically
a friendly and professional disposition
the ability to work on own initiative, actively identifying solutions to problems in a pressurised environment
the abili! ty to deal with high volumes of work to a high standard in a p! rofessional manner
the ability to work to deadlines
RSA3 or equivalent
knowledge of Financial Services would be an advantage
The Details
You will need to:
provide seamless exectutive support to the ExCo member, working closely and acting as respresentation where required
coordination of briefing materials to support the Exec member meetings, papers, speeches and presentations (internal & external), liaising with Internal Communications, Public Relations and business lines as appropriate
read, research and summarise briefing papers provided to the EXCO member, for Executive Committees and Boards
attend meetings with or on behalf of the EXCO member, recording feedback and minutes, tracking and driving actions as required
work with relevant areas to deliver communications plan, in particular all staff event meetings, senior leadership meetings and executive strategy sessions
in! put and track key communications messages
respond to both internal and external correspondence, closely working with senior managers where appropriate or undertaking internal or external research (e.g. customer complaints, general correspondence)
build and maintain strong working relationships with senior management to ensure good flow of information and effective workload management
generate insights and ideas to further develop leadership profile across the Group eg: organisation of relevant leadership events, management of schedules, etc
maintain oversight of cost centres and work with Group Finance to monitor and track overall cost performance on a monthly basis
oversee the production of various monthly performance reports, including GPP, Board Report and CEO 121 material provide functional leadership to the pool of secretaries/team assistants across the business and ensure that best practice is shared and an efficient operat! ing model is maintained
